About Me
I am a cross-over trainer, meaning that my early exposure and education about how to "train" a horse or a dog was to not respect them and use abusive/aversive approaches.
I learned about a new perspective and philosophy in 2001 then went to the SF/SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers which opened my eyes and mind about classical and operant conditioning as well as clicker training. It opened a whole new world. It changed my view on how to live with dogs and how to develop a trusting/working relationship.
I work with all dogs of any size of any breed - disabled, blind, or deaf. The bulk of my services are geared for Private One-on-One with the dog and the family. I can help you with nail trimming, loose leash walking, brushing teeth, come-when-called, crate training, and so much more.
I have several webinars that you can purchase through www.raisingcanine.com, I have been mentioned/quoted in several dog related magazines and I have been published in a peer journal called The APDT Chronicle of the Dog.
